Linear Algebra Links
Glossary -- Well laid out glossary a terms with definitions. Nice reference.
Reference -- Another well thought out page. Containing an good reference to elementary linear algebra. The page is a listing of Definitions, Axioms, Examples, and Discussions. The best part is there are theorems with proofs located throughout. A good place to refresh or send students for help.
Java Calculator -- Fun little site of Java Script run calculators. Mostly for basic matrix operations, but fairly powerful solver. Operations include Matrix addition, multiplication, dterminants, inverses and solving systems of linear equations. It is another good site to refer students to for help in verification of their work.
LAVA -- Very cool interactive site! LAVA stands for Linear Algebra Visualization Assistant. It uses, I'm guessing, Java script to produce impressive graphical representations of algebraic ideas. Areas covered as of late are linear transformations, linear independence, and Eigenvectors / Eigenvalues. The latter is a must see. The only downside would be the small size of the site. It has changed topics since I visited awhile ago, but it only contains a low number of topics at a time. Overall good site and must see.
